We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
2. What data we process
The data you give us when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email: name, phone number, email, company and what you tell us in your enquiry (for example, the make, model and serial number of your engine, or photos of the part). If you are a customer, also the data needed to prepare quotes, fulfil orders and invoice.
When you browse the website, technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and, if you accept them, cookies are also processed: we explain this in the Cookie policy.
Purchases in the online shop shop.fuentesglobalparts.com are governed by the shop's privacy policy.
3. What we use it for and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiries and preparing quotes: your request and the taking of pre-contractual steps (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Managing orders, shipments, returns and warranties: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Invoicing and meeting accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Keeping the website secure and preventing fraud: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Sending you news or offers: only if you have agreed to it (art. 6.1.a GDPR); you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to one year after the last contact.
- Customer and order data: for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the legal retention periods (generally six years for commercial records, plus those set by tax law).
- Marketing communications: until you withdraw your consent.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with those we need in order to serve you, with the safeguards of the GDPR:
- Arsys Internet, S.L.U., website and email hosting.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp.
- Carriers, to deliver shipments.
- Our tax and accounting advisers, to meet our legal obligations.
- Public authorities, courts and law enforcement, when required by law.
Some providers (for example, Meta or Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case it is done with the safeguards required by the GDPR (adequacy decisions, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of or objection to its processing and its portability, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to us at info@fuentesglobalparts.com stating which right you wish to exercise; we may ask you to prove your identity.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
